St Séverin sur Boutonne, cute little village near by the famous Dampierre sur Boutonne Renaissance Castle, with its gorgeous middle-age Church in Aulnay de Saintonge, UNESCO monument.

We're at barely 20mn drive from St Jean D’Angély, well known for its rich history and heritage. Next to Saintes the Saintonge region capital and Cognac and its vineyards.

La Rochelle and its lovely beaches are at a mere hour drive away as are the 4 islands of the south Atlantic coast, plus we're only 30mn away from Niort, the French Bayou or the science park Futuroscope of Poitiers.
